ACCESSING THE 'VOICE-OF-COLOUR' IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

A Talk by UoM's Dayo Eseonu

In this talk, Temidayo Eseonu discussed accessing the 'voice-of-colour' in public administration.

Her research uses anti-racist institutionalist analysis to locate the practices which marginalise racial minorities in needs-talk spaces, and she translated this research into an extremely informative presentation, followed by a fruitful discussion.

This fascinating talk discussed and compared different approaches to combine quantitative and qualitative methods in a wide range of disciplines. 

We were joined by a superb panel of researchers from sociology, psychology, political science and a data analyst from the public sector.
